Collection of Regulations and Official Publications in Education

The Collection of Regulations and Official Publications in Education presents a systematic legislative framework of the Croatian school system from the eighteenth to the twenty-first century. It includes school legislation acts, orders, regulations and guidelines issued by authorised administrative bodies, teaching plans and programmes and disciplinary regulations for primary and secondary schools, statutes and working principles of educational institutions and associations. The Collection has about 800 items – from the enlightenment school acts of the Habsburg Monarchy, such as Allgemeine Schulordnung (1774) or Ratio educationis (1777 and 1807), to drafts and official editions of Croatian nineteenth-century School Acts, to Education Acts of the twentieth century. The largest number of items is related to education in Croatia, but the Collection also includes publications in German, Czech, Russian, Serbian, French and Latin.

The Collection of Regulations and Official Publications in Education is a valuable information resource for researching the development of the Croatian school system, school education, individual school subjects, as well as of professional and social class related work of teachers.
